From Ontario's Great North to the Beautiful Central South
After nearly twenty five years in the Temiskaming region, we packed up our farmstead and chased our dreams to the Simcoe area!
With over twenty years in the horseracing industry, we've expanded our farm to include a western tack shop, a few Longhorn cattle, and now – Bison!
Come visit us at here Breakaway Stable, where we breakaway from the ordinary.
HORSES
"Our goal is to breed top tier speed horses that not only can race down the track, but turn those cans just as fast."
Proudly presenting the Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity finalist, and All American Derby finalist: Peighnt Your Fate. By leading sire PYC Paint Your Wagon, and out of the impressive Fate Can’t Weight by Mr Jess Perry; Fate has the pedigree to match his outstanding race record.
With earnings over $147,000usd on the track, his first crop of foals is set to run this summer. We cannot wait to see what Fate’s babies can do!
Along with Peighnt Your Fate, here at Breakaway Stable we are known to have some serious mare power. Backed by some of the industry’s leading stallions, we are grateful to own a handful of multiple stakes winning mares, and stakes winning producers.
Please contact us for inquires on breeding, and any horses or foals that we have available.

BISON
Strong and resilient, just like our ancestors. For us here at Breakaway Stable the bison is more than just a nourishing protein – it’s culture. We take pride in the way we raise and treat our bison, from start to finish.
Providing our herd with exceptional living conditions is what we strive for. During the summer months, we use a rotational based grazing schedule to ensure the regeneration of our pasture land. With year round access to indoor shelter, treed areas, and a mixed selection of hays and alfalfa, our bison no longer have to run towards the storm – unless they want to of course.
